Wow, who hasn't updated in over a week ? That would be moi ! Haha .. Hey gals =) So much has been going on, I've been really busy but I've been having a lot of fun with my life lately. And I have great news : I'm going to Cali ! I'll get to why a little later, but let me rewind back to last Sunday, which was Britt's party. It was a good time. Lots of people were there, including Alex, Deanna, Jess, Gen, & Val. A lot of other people were there from the drama club or they lived down Britt's block, or just other people from school. It was chilly so I really didn't go in the pool much, I kind of just sat with Alex & Deanna the whole time & ate food while we mingled with other people. On Monday morning I went to Costco with my aunt Jo & my mom to get food for my party that was on Friday. We got stuff like pretzels, tortilla chips, kettle chips, flat pretzels, & dips & drinks also. We just needed some snacks to go along with the catering we had gotten. A little after I got home I went to the ecology center with Jenna & we race walked on the one mile course & she told me all about prom & stuff. Then I read & hung out at home. Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday were pretty chill during the day. I just laid out ( I'm really tan now ), went in the pool, read. On Tuesday I finished Honey, Baby, Sweetheart ( it was a really cute book ! ) then later on that night I started Waves by Sharon Dogar. Tuesday evening I also went to Walk USA with Jenna, & Rob was with us too even though he stayed in the car the whole time, but then we went out for a little after that. On Wednesday night I went to the library & returned/took out some books. I took out Life In the Fat Lane by Cherie Bennett, Confessions Of A Hollywood Star by Dyan Sheldon, The True Meaning Of Cleavage by Mariah Fredericks, So Super Starry by Rose Wilkins, Pop Princess by Rachel Cohn, & The Memory Keeper's Daughter by Kim Edwards. I also went to Walk USA on Thursday too, & it was pouring out & thundering, then I finished Waves later on that night. On Friday it was my party ! It was tons of fun. The guest list : Alex, Deanna, Diana, Breanna, Helen, Britt P., Jenna, Kristen, Kaitlin, Jess, Mango, Jacq, Steph S., Danielle, Shannon, Bev, Marissa, Gen, Amanda, Brittany B., Vanessa, Steph R., Ellyse, & my cousin Marissa. We went in the pool, fit like half of the party into the hot tub, checked out the guys next door since we could see them over the fence, played volley ball in the pool, some people played basketball in the basketball court, & we had also ordered so much food. We had appetizers : bruschetta, an antipasto basket, & a middle Eastern sampler basket with pita triangles, feta cheese, grape leaves, hummus, & stuff like that. Then we had American heroes, eggplant heroes, & chicken Caesar heroes with pickles & olives, potato salad, macaroni salad, & coleslaw. For dessert : a big birthday cake ( this was my Sweet Sixteen party, in case anyone was wondering haha ) filled with chocolate & vanilla pudding, then there was also chocolate dipped fruit & a big tray of cookies & brownies & stuff. Everyone also signed an autograph book that I put out, & everything was so sweet ! Oh & the presents I got =) Let's see .. I got this Coach bag from Alex & Deanna, along with a little mini scrap book -- all about moi ! -- from Deanna that I absolutely love, Diana gave me two books : Blue Bloods & the sequel, Masquerade, which are by Melissa de la Cruz ( she writes the Au Pairs books ) along with a gift card to Borders, Breanna gave me a plaque about angels with a saying from the Bible on it, & she made me really cute bracelets. She also gave me this really funny list of instructions for unwrapping the present & opening the box because back in January for Deanna's birthday, I got her an outfit from Victoria's Secret & they gave me a gift box to put it in, but I didn't put it together right because it was really confusing so when Deanna opened it & it was all screwed up, she was like " Alyssa what did you do to it ? " so I was like, " Sorry, the box didn't come with instructions ! " And that's where the whole joke came from haha. Helen gave me money & a gift card to Starbucks. She's my Starbucks lifeline because she's always giving me gift cards for it since she knows how much I love it lol. Danielle gave me this Coach CD case in purple, along with some bath things & a vanilla scented loufa. Mango gave me a tank, zip up hoodie, & shorts set from Aeropostale, along with this pair of awesome retro-like sunglasses. Jess gave me an MTV Power Yoga DVD & a picture frame with a pic of her, Shayna, & me from the Honor Society induction. Shannon gave me an iTunes gift card, Steph R. gave me a gift card to Hollister, Steph gave me a necklace ( she already had given me her gift : a shirt from Hollister & money ) & in the card she had cut out a picture of a hot guy & gave it to me as my " boyfriend " haha. Gen gave me a gift card to the movies & some bath soaps & lotions. Jenna already gave me her presnt before the party, which was a picture frame & money. Jacq gave me a picture frame with a matching keepsake box, my cousin Marissa alrady gave me a gift too ( a diamond nameplate ) but at the party she gave me a Sweet Sixteen Precious Moments statuette. Then I think everyone else ( Kristen & Kaitlin, Britt P., Bev, Ellyse, Marissa, Amanda & Brittany B., Vanessa ) gave me money .. I made like, $ 300 ! But the party was a blast & I had so much fun =) My cousin Marissa came back to my house & we went out for a bit then hung out at my house. I also started the Memory Keeper's Daughter that day, too. On Saturday ( yesterday ) I went out to get Kaysi a present ( her party was today ), along with gifts for Kristen & Kaitlin since their birthday was last week. Later on I went to my cousin Johnny's graduation party. It was good, yummy food, lots of chit chat, my big family sitting in its own little corner haha. Oh my cousin Johnathan got an iPhone on Friday & those phones are soo amazing I really want one haha. My mom said she might get me one when the price lowers a bit because she doesn't want to pay $ 600 for a phone when I already have one I really like, but I mean, they're just that amazing, or my mom wouldn't have offered to get me one at all haha. She really liked it too. Mmm there was a lot of good desserts too. Later on that night, my cousin Gary John, who plays pro soccer, was playing a game in L.A. so my grandma came back to my house meanwhile like, hundreds of people went back to my aunt's to watch it there. It was a big game because he was starting, & he's only a rookie so it was just all big & exciting for everyone. He's on New England Revolution, & he's number seventeen if anyone wanted to look him up because there's a little bio about him, along with a picture, on the team's website =) The game was good, he played really well ! They lost against Chivas USA, but that didn't matter that much to us. So this morning has to do with the big news about Cali. I had a 3k (3,000 meters) race today for race walk ( Long Island Regional Championships ) & whoever came in first or second in their race got to advance to compete at the National Junior Olympic Championships out in Cali at the end of July, & I came in first place in the girls' intermediate 3k race walk =) So I'm off to Cali baby ! Hehe. My parents decided to make a trip out of it now. My race is on July 25th, but we're flying out there on the 23rd & staying the whole week. I'll be beachin' it, cruising through Hollywood & L.A., Laguna Beach, Huntington Beach, possibly Newport Beach, maybe Disneyland & Universal Studios, we're not sure about the later things, but deffinitely checking out the beaches & Hollywood & L.A. ! I'm really excited ! Later on today I had Kaysi's surprise sweet sixteen party. It was a little party at her uncle's house since she came up here to visit from Georgia ( she had moved there in October ) & was staying there this whole week. Aww it was so great to see her again ! We all had so much fun. We were going to go in the pool but it was a little chilly today, but we were having too much fun to even consider it really. Lots of good food too =) Oh & Ashley couldn't make it to my party, but she gave me my present today. She gave me a Chanel necklace, not real though, but it's so cute. Ah so that's been my life basically lol. Pretty busy. Sorry for the long update ! If you read it all, I swear, you're such a doll ! Tomorrow Alex is coming over to hang out, & Tuesday is possibly going out to the Hamptons to my aunt Jo's house. For the Fourth of July, the weather channel predicted rain for us Long Islanders, but if there isn't rain then Steph & I are going to the beach, out to dinner, then to Bald Hill to watch fire works. So it'll be fun ! I have no idea when I'll update, maybe on Thursday I will. I hope everyone enjoyed their weekends, & have a great Fourth of July !

Hi dolls ! Thank you for the comments =) How has everyone's weekends been ? Mine's been great ! Diana's pool party was realy fun yesterday. Danielle didn't start any drama, which was good. We kind of just avoided each other the whole time, but at one point when she was next to me in the pool, she was like, " I just want to let you know that I was really upset the other day " and I was like, "Okay, I'm sorry " and then she said, " I'm just letting you know " and then I said sorry again, but I didn't like her tone of voice when she said it, because it was kind of like she was talking down to me, but then she said she wants to come to my party again so I said okay. Everyone told me I should've ignored her but I'm not like that & I don't like to cause drama. So anyway, about the party. It was just me, Alex, Deanna, Kenny, Kristen, Kaitlin, Breanna, & Danielle (and Diana of course) because Diana couldn't invite too many people because her brother & her sister invited people too. It was really windy out & kind of chilly, but Diana's pool is heated so it didn't matter that much. We played Sharks & Minnows in the shallow end which didn't last too long because then we ended up slapping around beach balls & tackling each other, haha. We had pizza in the middle of the party, then ice cream, brownies, chocolate covered strawberries, & cookies towards the end. I think Kenny managed to touch us all at least once, especially Alex lol. Deanna & I think he likes her, it's kind of obvious. I think he likes getting her aggrivated. She broke this little water gun because she was hitting him on the arm with it haha. When I got home I went outside for a race walk workout, then when I went inside I had dinner & then I took a shower & dedicated the rest of my night to an ab workout & finishing Wild Roses. I finished it =) Today I went to the beach with Diana. We tried to go in the water for a little bit but it was freezing ! I got up to my bikini bottom, that's it haha. We had Subway for lunch because we had stopped there on the way. We also laid out & looked at magazines, but I got a big line of sunburn above my butt from when I was laying on my stomach... I forgot to put on my tanning lotion there lol. It hurts a lot now =( Diana & I saw a girl Katie we knew from school, & she was with Ashleigh from my bio class. But I got a good tan, despite that painful burn. When I got home I went outside to do a race walk workout, then when I went inside I watched the Yankee game & started Honey, Baby, Sweetheart, & then I had dinner. Tomorrow I'm going to Britt's for her pool party, which should be fun even though her pool is always cold lol. I think on Monday my aunt is picking up my mom & I & taking us to get snacks for my party, & we're probably going to spend the day at her house. I'll update soon I guess ! Please leave comments !

Hello girlies, thanks for the comments ! How has everyone's weeks been going ? I have one way to explain mine (as of yesterday, at least) : D-R-A-M-A. I'll get to that soon, but I'll talk about Tuesday and Wednesday. On Tuesday I started Wild Roses because I finished Luna the night before, and I laid out and went out to do a race walk work out. I ended up not going to Walk USA with Jenna because she was going to watch Krisren run her Empire Games trials, so she and I just talked on the phone for a while. On Wednesday I had the biology regents which was okay, not too hard. I went over Gen's after that and we hung out. But Deanna got mad because she was going to drive us home, but Gen & I took the bus because we finished before Deanna and they weren't letting anyone stay in the school so we couldn't wait for her inside, & it was raining so Gen didn't want to stay outside, so we just took the bus home. I was going to text Deanna & tell her not to wait for us, but if her cell went off or even vibrated, she would've gotten her test taken away and they would have failed her. I texted her after the test hours were over & later got a nasty text back saying how she waited over an hour & that her mom was late to work & that I was inconsiderate & I was like, oh crap what's wrong with me ? I don't even think sometimes, I lose my head way too much. I texted her back, apologizing as much as I could, & I told her how they wouldn't let us stay in the school & about how I didn't want to text her in case her phone went off, & she just replied saying it was okay. Little did I know she had gotten over it way before I sent her the text message haha. So Gen & I watched TV, ate ice cream & popcorn while we watched Win A Date With Tad Hamilton (I love that movie), raided her closet for games & played some, then we ate yogurt & Chex Mix while we watched Full House. It was raining really hard so we couldn't go outside or anything. But Gen has a trampoline in her room that I got to jump on whenever we didn't know what to do, haha. It's so cute, and it has a handle bar you can hold on to while you jump =) I went home at 5:00 & since it had cleared up I went outside to do a race walk workout. I read when I got home & then I called Danielle to tell her I couldn't go to her pool party, which was today. This is where the big drama comes in. At the beginning of the month, before school even ended, Danielle was thinking about making her party today or tomorrow. Since Diana's is tomorrow, she picked today. I told her I wouldn't be able to go because I was going to Jenna's prom pictures, so I thought she understood that. She calls me on Monday & invites me & I told her I would have to see what time the prom pictures were, because maybe I could go to her party & leave early, depending on what time I had to be at Jenna's for, & I told her I'd get back to her & tell her if I could go or not, and she seemed to understand that. I talked to Jenna before I called Danielle and she told me to be at her house for 5:00. So then I couldn't go to Danielle's because who was going to pick me up early ? Deanna or Alex could drive me there, but since they weren't leaving early they couldn't drive me home. My mom can't drive, so I couldn't even go & leave early. When I told Danielle that she totally blew up. She was like, "What are you talking about? My mom made the food already. You said you could come. What, are you all of the sudden blowing off your old friends for Jenna? Are her prom pictures more important than my party? Now you don't have a ride? You're telling me two different stories now. I'm not understanding this. Forget about it. Now I'm not coming to your party." And she hangs up. Okay, 1) Her mom already makes enough food to feed an army. 2) I specifically told her that I could not go, or that I would try to go & I would get back to her. 3) Jenna told me about these pictures in April. Was I supposed to just cancel those plans to make Danielle happy & go to her party ? 4) Yes, her prom pictures are more important than Danielle's party, sorry. That's Jenna's senior prom, she's probably not going to the prom again because her boyfriend's a senior too. 5) She wouldn't even let me explain that whole thing about not having a ride home if I chose to go & leave early. 6) Thanks for missing my Sweet 16 Danielle, you're a great friend. Sorry you can't always get what you want though. Ugh. Thankfully, Diana had called me right after Danielle hung up on me, & I told Diana everything. And she was pissed. She didn't even want to go to Danielle's party because she had to go to her brother's elementary school graduation, & Danielle bugs her. After I got off the phone with her I called Alex & told her, & she was pissed off too because Danielle was being so mean to her lately. Like she ignored Alex for a week once, for no reason, & then just starting talking to her again like nothing happened. And Danielle always lies to Alex, which gets Alex so mad because she can't even trust her with anything anymore. After I got off the phone with Alex Diana called me again and told me that she told Deanna, & Deanna was pissed too. So I talked to Diana, then Deanna called & I talked with her. She told me not to worry about it & that Danielle's just a spoiled brat who can't take no for an answer & that she was really sorry she sent me that nasty text earlier. I don't think she had to apologize, I kind of deserved that haha. Then I talked with Diana again. Danielle's mom called too & started yelling at my mom about how I was wrong to "choose" Jenna over Danielle because Danielle & I have been friend's since kindergarden (um no, try seventh grade. We've known each other since kindergarden but knowing someone & being friends with them are two different things), that I'm breaking away from our "chain of friendship:" by hanging out with Jenna & that she won't be in our school next year & I won't have any friends anymore because my friends will all turn away from me because of her, & things like that. My mom didn't say anything because if she did, she would have been saying some pretty nasty things, & she didn't want to start anymore trouble. So I just saw her nod & her jaw was clenched so tight, it was pretty funny. But I took a shower after that & read & stuff to blow off steam. Ugh I really didn't need that drama last night. Danielle starts so much drama over the littlest things. I couldn't go to her party. Big deal I would never do that to someone if they couldn't come to my party. Some people didn't even tell me whether or not they could go to my party next week & you don't see me yelling at them & starting trouble like that. So today my mom made me clean my room, which took two hours. I'm glad I got it over with because now my room is spotless =) Danielle's mom also called & apologized to my mom for calling up like that last night. She said she thinks Danielle was wrong & that she hopes Danielle will apologize to me soon. If she ends up saying that she wants to come to my party again, I'll let her come. I thought about it. Everyone says I shouldn't, but I'm not going to be a bad person & not let her. Whatever.I went out for a race walk work out after that, then had lunch, took a shower, & got ready to go to Jenna's. My mom made me wear a dress, I can't believe it lol. She said if I'm going to be in someone's prom pictures I have to look nice. I wanted to wear a denim skirt & a nice top or something so I wuldn't be too overdressed, but she made me wear the dress. Everyone else who was there & wasn't going to the prom wasn't dressed up though, so I felt uncomfortable & dumb haha. But omg Jenna looked so pretty ! Her make up & hair looked amazing. & Her dress is gorgeous ! Her sister Kaitlyn, who's my age, was also going to the prom & she looked so pretty too. The house was decorated with pink & silver balloons, it was cute. Kristen & Kaitlin were there & Kerinna came, & Kaitlyn had two friends over too. We also went to someone else's house, where the limo was, & we watched everyone get in the limo & drive off. It was an Escalade limo, & the inside was awesome. & They're going out to the Hamptons tonight after the prom & they're staying in someone's house, which is huge with a dance floor on the second floor & all of this other crazy stuff. I wish I could go haha. I can't wait for my prom now though ! When I got home I changed & my aunt came over & we went to Mama Lombardi's for dinner with my grandma. I had a veggie pop, which is vegetables & cheese baked into dough. It's really good =) And that was my day/night/week. Haha. Semi-stressful. Tomorrow's Diana's pool party, Saturday I'm going to the beach with Diana, & on Sunday it's Britt's party & I'm also going to try to stop by Steph's sister's graduation party. Sorry this was such a long entry, but obviously I had a lot to say ! I guess I'll update tomorrow about Diana's pool party. Hopefully it will be drama-free because Danielle's going. Hey dolls ! How was the rest of your weekends ? Did you have a good Father's Day with your fathers ? Mine was good =) & Thanks for the comments ! Yesterday I went to the cementary with my parents & we went to my mom's father's grave & planted flowers, then we went to my dad's father's grave & we met Marissa, my aunt, & my uncle there. Of course Marissa had to take pictures haha. We just walked around while our dad's planted flowers. It was really hot out ! Marissa actually almost lost her purse. She left it by the big statue & a woman was going to bring it to the main office, but then my aunt stopped her. Marissa got in big trouble for that haha. After the cementary we went to Kohl's because my mom wanted to look for capris & Marissa wanted to look for bikinis, then we went back to Marissa's & ordered Domino's for dinner. After dinner my aunt was kind of nagging us to review for the bio regents that's on Wednesday, so Marissa & I went in her room & started doing a review test. We got really side tracked though, then Sarah & Taylor came over & we hung out in the backyard on the trampoline for about twenty minutes, then my aunt wanted us back in to finish the test. After we finished our dad's took us to Rita's & we got soft serve ice cream, yum =) When we went back to Marissa's, my parents & I went home. Today my mom had an orthopedic appointment so we went around 11:00 & while we waited I just texted & I/Med people. I was going to hang out with Deanna but she got sick from some food she ate last night, so she couldn't. But later on we were going to the bio regents review at my school. Omg the orthopedics was so boring. They make you wait for such a long time ! My mom had to see about three doctors, one of them being for an X-ray, & the others just said the same things to her. My parents & I were so bored that we were making jokes about everything... I don't think I ever laughed so much with them haha. After that (which was about two hours, no joke) we went to the IHOP for lunch. I got a Boca cheeseburger with onion rings. We stopped at the grocery store before we got home, then when we went home. Gen came over & then Deanna picked us up for the regents review. It was two and a half hours of non-stop bio, not so fun =( I sat with Deanna, Gen, Shannon, Cheryl, Sam, & Bev. We got a little break though, which was good. When I got home I did a race walk work out, then I went inside & had dinner, which was around 8:30. Tomorrow I don't have much planned, except for going to Walk USA tomorrow night with Jenna. I'm almost done with Luna, I have about forty pages left, so I'd like to finish it tonight. If not tonight, then deff tomorrow. I'll probably update Wednesday, or even Thursday depending on what I do. I'll ttyl dears, please leave comments !

Hey sweethearts ! How has everyone's weekends been ? Thank you for the comments on my last entry. I'm so used to getting a lot of comments but a lot of people just haven't been on, and my break kind of had me lose touch with some people. But that's okay =) So on Thursday I read, went out to race walk for two hours (wow I was really sore after that, haha), and did my hair for Marissa's party, which was last night, because I had absolutely no time yesterday. Oh, and my grandma came over too. Yesterday I had the French regents at 12:15 which was a joke ! It was so easy, I'm really confident that I did well. So was everyone else on every other language regents haha. Deanna drove me home & I had lunch & read, then I went back out to the movies to see Nancy Drew with Alex, Deanna, Danielle, Diana, & Britt. I really liked it ! It was cute. And so was the guy who played Nancy's friend Ned, Max Thieriot. Ahh he was so cute in that movie ! So when I got home I wasn't even ready yet & Steph called to tell me that she was on her way to pick me up for Marissa's Sweet Sixteen, so I threw on my dress & shoes, touched up my hair, put on some jewelry, & my mom wrapped the present for me... All in less than twenty minutes ! I had to do my make up & write out her card in the car though lol. Well anyway, Marissa's party so much fun. It was at this place called the Three Village Inn which is kind of on the water, but it's such a cute, old-fashioned place. And Marissa looked absolutely gorgeous. She had gotten her braces off on Thursday, & her dress was burgundy, strapless, kind of poofy, & it was pinched with jewels. And she had on a tiara. The party was kind of like a masquerade, so we all had frilly masks with feathers on them. I mostly hung out with Steph & Andreia the whole time. The food was good too, there was a buffet for dinner (Marissa even made sure there was food for me, since I'm a vegetarian) and then we danced for like, two hours. For dessert there was two candy carts, one with a cotton candy machine, but I just got ice cream from the ice cream bar & a piece of cake, which were both really good. And there was a slide show on this plasma TV of all these pictures of Marissa. The whole party was just a lot of fun =) Today we did the usual errands, like food shopping, & then my mom had a hair appointment. Then we took Princess to get her nails cut, then my dad took me to my old middle school so I could do a race walk work out on the track there. I ate dinner when I got home, & that's about it. It's not much but it took the whole day, lol. I also finished the Perks of Being a Wallflower which I recommend to anyone because it was such a good book. I'm going to start Luna tonight before I go to sleep. Tomorrow's Father's Day ! I'm going to the cemetary with my parents, Marissa (not my friend, my cousin), & my aunt & uncle to visit my grandfathers' graves & then we're going to Marissa's house & getting pizza & stuff. Bonjour ! Update time =] How have you girls been ? Thank you so much for the comments on my last entry, they were all really sweet ! So on Sunday night after I had updated, Maria from race walk called & said that she talked to my coach & everything & told him that I should go to Nike Outdoor Nationals later this week in North Carolina ! I was so excited because that was my goal for the season. Even though I didn't have the qualifying time, Maria said that Mr. Mc should have taken me on the spot because I'm a really hard worker, I go to double practice, & I've done a 10k & a 5k, but then Mr. Mc claims that he didn't know that I wanted to go. Hello, who doesn't want to go to Nationals ?!?! Only the best in the country go ! Registration ended that day, so Maria said there was still a chance, but it turns out that it ended that day at 3:00 & Maria had called after 7:00. So I won't be going this year =[ But that's okay, I had things planned for the weekend anyway. Monday was the usual : school, two finals, practice. Then Tuesday was the last day of classes ! After school I went to Jenna's & hung out with her & Rob, and we just talked & ate pretzels with peanut butter. Yum, hehe. Then Jenna & I went out to do a distance workout & Rob came & jogged while we race walked. Then we got ready to go to a 21st birthday party for this guy Anthony who's in special ed. He hung around Jenna during almost the whole senior trip in April, so she was invited to his party & she thought she'd stop by to be nice, but she didn't want to go alone so that's why Rob & I went with her. But before we went we were looking at the yearbook with her mom. Ew on the cross country page there's this big picture of me running in one of the meets, & the picture wasn't flipped so it makes it look like my jersey's on backwards haha. At the party Jenna kind of did most of the talking with Anthony because she was the only one who really knew him. A lot of teachers were there, but we were the only teens there. I felt bad that no one else he had invited showed up. One person even called while we were there to say that they weren't coming. & It wasn't bad either, just kind of akward. But his family really appreciated that we came. When we went back to Jenna's we just watched TV until we left with her parents to go to the track awards dinner. The dinner went well & there was a lot of good food. I made the varsity squad for both winter & spring, & I got an award for the most improved =] Omg I was like, crying so much during the seniors' speeches. Shayna made this twenty-minute long one & she started hysterically crying behind the podium. I felt so bad because since hers was so long, a lot of people got up & left. Excuse me but that's so rude. She's a senior & she's making her speech, give her some respect. & A lot of the seniors had really funny speeches though. I'm going to miss them all so much =[ Today I had the history regents, which was okay. I think I did pretty well on the multiple choice & DBQ part, but the thematic essay was kind of iffy. A lot of people said they had trouble with it too. When I got home I went straight outside to do a workout, then when I came in I got some food, then when my dad came home from work he took me to the library so I could take out some books. I took out Honey, Baby, Sweetheart by Deb Caletti, Wild Roses (by the same authour), the Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chboski, Luna by Julie Anne Peters (recommended by Diana), & Waves by Sharon Dogar. I'm starting the Perks of Being a Wallflower tonight because I've wanted to read that book for a while, & I know it's supposed to be a really good book. I don't have much planned for tomorrow except for a work out, getting Marissa's birthday present, watching the Yankee game, & reading. Today was actually really chilly out & tomorrow is supposed to be the same way. Friday I have the French regents, then I think I'm going to the movies with some people to see Nancy Drew, & then at night I have Marissa's sweet sixteen so I'll update on Saturday. C R E D I T

Heyy dolls ! I'm back from that really long break I took =] Since summer is right around the corner, I decided to come back to start upating again. I'll just be updating on days/weekends where I actually do fun things. I missed a lot of you ! Some exciting stuff has happened to me lately, like being inducted to the National Honor Society, breaking 8:30 for the 1500 meter race walk, losing weight & getting back to my normal physique, dying my hair (that was way back at the end of April though), & just crushing on a few new guys. I decided to begin updating again this weekend because I knew it would be a good one... Relay For Life ! It was from 7:00 yesterday (we had to be there at 4:00 to set up & sign in though) to 7:00 this morning. I had been writing about this back in February and March, but I highly doubt anyone remembers haha. I was on a team with Breanna, Alex, Deanna, Steph R., Danielle, Erin, & Jonathan. We had this awesome two-room tent, which was probably the biggest tent there, & we decorated it with streamers =] We had so much food too (like cookies, chips, pizza, pasta, mini muffins, Goldfish, Poptarts, popcorn, & sandwiches) & we even got free Italian ices from Ralph's. I spent the whole night with Breanna & we basically did most of the walking on the track. We estimated that we walked a total of fifteen miles because everytime we walked (we all roated in shifts; like Alex, Danielle, & Jonathan would go on the track together, then Deanna, Erin, & Steph would, then Breanna & I after them) she & I walked for at least one hour, & we walked about five times. Everyone else walked for, at the most, 45 minutes each time it was their shift. It's not that Breanna & I minded, because we were the ones that were most capable because we were the only athletes in our group so we didn't get tired easily, but I had Empire trials today & I really shouldn't have done that much at all (I'll get to that later). I think I slept for a total of an hour & a half. I was so tired by the time it was over ! But it really was a lot of fun, & I deff want to do it next year. Breanna & I bought these cute bracelets too =] Over the night, the track was lined with these bags decorated in honor or in memory of people who had cancer, and inside the bags were candles and when they were lit & the field lights were shut off, it looked so pretty. On the bleachers they spelt out Hope with the candles, & Cure too, which looked really cool from the track. There was also so many people there that we knew, & a lot of people from track too. I also saw some people that I haven't seen in about three years. So today in the morning my parents took me straight to Eisenhower Park for the trails. It was a 5k & these two girls Ern & Jackie that I know from other schools were there too, & this new girl that none of us knew. My race was really bad (obviously I didn't make it) because I wasn't in the right mental state, my legs were killing me, & I had no energy whatsoever. But I'm an alternate & I have a chance of competing in the Junior Olympics instead, so it's not that bad... I'm still disappointed though, but I'll get over it =] Oh I got the cutest dress yesterday for Marissa's Sweet 16 this Friday. Her theme is black & white (she's not wearing those colors though) & my dress is black, goes down to my knees, has this kind of frilly edge on the bottom, has thick spaghetti straps, it's ruffled at the torso, and there's three white ribbons on it that have little bows on the ends. It looks a lot better than it sounds though, I'm just bad at describing things haha. I'm going to wear it with a pair of these strappy platforms that I've had since forever, but since they're black & I like them, I'm wearing them. Well I got a lot of sleep today after my race so I'm not as tired anymore, but I have homework to do now & my daily ab workouts. So I think I'll update on Wednesday because Tuesday I'm going to a birthday party with Jenna & her boyfriend Rob, then later on at night is the track awards dinner, & Wednesday morning is the history regents (it's a state final).
